L.A. Storytellers: What's Your Recipe?
A collaboration between Active Arts at the Music Center and award-winning Cornerstone Theater Company.
Food is often at the heart of a memorable occasion. It can reflect cultural and family traditions creating fond experiences and unforgettable stories. From a recipe passed down through generations, to a whipped-together meal that becomes the family favorite, or a special treat rarely indulged upon but always savored, there are stories behind each and every cherished delicacy. L.A. Storytellers invite you to indulge in food non-fiction and share your tasty tales.
Intended for non-professional/recreational storytellers, no prior experience necessary (must be at least 18 years old to participate.)
How to participate?
Submit your story anytime from January 7 to February 4, 2008.
- Registration is now closed.

- Complete and submit no later than February 4.

- If your story is selected, you will receive final notification by February 12. Stories not chosen in this round may be invited for future participation.
No submission fee.
Save the Dates!
Once selected, you will be invited to participate in a two-day story sharing workshop on February 16 and March 8, 9am to 2pm on both days. Working with and guided by Cornerstone Theater's professional facilitators, directors, writers, and actors, participants weave the stories together and at the process' end, share with friends, family, and invited guests.
