NEDERLANDS DANS THEATER 1 (NDT) is truly European contemporary dance at its best. NDT continues to push the boundaries of modern dance with its innovative choreography, unique staging, and athletic, technical dancers. Continually providing mesmerizing contemporary dance experiences, NDT has inspired many of the worlds most noted and celebrated modern choreographers and dance companies.
Always unpredictable and exciting, the company performs Jiří Kylián's Wings of Wax, a dramatic piece combining the use of lighting, music and movement creating a work of great beauty and expressiveness. In The Second Person, Crystal Pite showcases the flexibility of the body and uses the physical capacity of the dancers to the maximum. The program also includes Shoot the Moon by Paul Lightfoot and Sol Len.
